2. When used for throttling function, the sealing surface is damaged

Exclusion method: Ball valves are not allowed to be used for throttling purposes.

3. The sealing surface is damaged by compression

Exclusion method: The bolts at the valve seat should be tightened evenly and with low force. It is better to tighten them several times rather than tightening them too much at once. Damaged sealing surfaces can be repaired by grinding and scraping.

4. Sealing surface without pre tightening pressure

Exclusion method: The pre tightening pressure of the valve seat sealing surface should be checked regularly. If leakage or loose contact is found on the sealing surface, the valve seat sealing surface should be slightly compressed; The preloading spring should be replaced if it fails.

5. The gap between the wrench, valve stem, and ball joint is large, and the wrench has reached the closed position. However, the ball rotation angle is less than 90 degrees, resulting in long-term leakage

Exclusion method: If the connection between the wrench, valve stem, and ball of the limited position mechanism is loose or the gap is too large, it should be repaired and tightened firmly; Adjust the limit block, eliminate the advance angle of the wrench, and ensure that the ball opens and closes correctly.

6. The contact surface between the valve seat and the body is not smooth and worn, and the O-ring is damaged, causing the valve seat to leak

Exclusion method: Improve the smoothness of the contact surface between the valve seat and the body, reduce the number of valve seat disassembly, and replace the O-ring regularly.
